[MC]Ronin[MC]
Renault is launching a full electric offensive The company adds two plug-in hybrids and one hybrid to its range. In addition, clean electric vehicles increased by one - Twingo Z.E. Renault draws on its expertise in the production of electric cars for more than 10 years and its expertise in Formula 1 to offer the widest range of electric cars thanks to the launch of an innovative and revolutionary range (the company's engineers have over 150 patents for it) from hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines called E-TECH on three of its flagship models: the new Renault Clio, Captur and Megane. The Hybrid Clio E-TECH can drive up to 80% of the city's time in electric mode alone, with the company claiming that fuel economy can go up to 40% compared to a city-driving gasoline engine. The model incorporates the new generation of the 1.6-liter gas engine (naturally aspirated), which works with two electric motors. One plays the role of a starter generator, the other drives the front wheels, while the technology kit completes the innovative gearbox without clutch and with several modes that came directly from Formula 1. The capacity of the lithium-ion battery varies depending on the type of hybrid model. For Clio E-TECH it is 1.2 kWh (230 V), while for plug-in hybrids Captur E-TECH and Megane E-TECH have a capacity of 9.8 kWh (400 V). In this case, the two models can travel up to 65 km on urban electricity (WLTP). In a mixed control cycle, both models have up to 50 km (WLTP). The weight of the hybrid Clio is increased by 10 kg over the dCi 115. In the combined cycle, E-TECH consumes less than 4.5 l / 100 km and emits less than 100 g / km of CO2 (WLTP). The battery does not reduce the boot volume (300 l) of the model. Powerful 160hp a petrol engine and a 9.8 kWh battery weigh 105 kg, allowing Captur and Megane's station wagon to offer up to 65 km of urban electricity. In a mixed cycle, the new Captur E-TECH Plug-In consumes 1.5 l / 100 km and emits 32 g of CO2 (WLTP). The same parameters apply to the Megane E-TECH plug-in.
