The Minister of Health Elizabeth Hinosotroza also ruled out that there will be any border closure in the border areas of the country. However, he noted that precautions are being taken to control the virus.

The Ministry of Health reported that it has the capacity to handle up to 75 severe cases of coronavirus in Lima.

At a press conference, the Vice Minister of Public Health, Nancy Zerpa, explained that five hospitals have been designated in Lima, which will have isolation zones with capacity for 15 severe cases of coronaviruses in the event of the country's arrival.

As he explained, a hospital will also be designated by region which will be equipped with an isolation zone to deal with possible cases of coronavirus. However, it is still evaluating what they could be.

The five hospitals equipped to attend and isolate patients with Coronavirus are the Hospital 2 de Mayo, the Hospital of Villa El Salvador, Hipólito Unanue Hospital, Sergio Bernales Hospital and the Vitarte Hospital.

Realmente si tendra la capacidad de contener el virus? si china no pudo, especificamente wuhan... ahora con la llegada de un caso confirmado en brasil...
