This small tutorial shows you how to make a cool crystal from Hotglue sticks! In combination with a LED light source laying around the house, you can create a nice eye catcher in the dark :).

Step 2: Cut the Hot Glue Sticks

Cut the glue sticks into different lengths. Make them pointy and continue with cutting the sides in a way they start to look like a hexagon bar.

Step 3: Dip the Crystals in Hot Water

Use a skewer to hold the crystals and dip them into hot water. Dip for a few seconds and see if the faces got more smooth and shiny like glass. Not to long in the water or your edges become blurry. The water needs to be fresh from the kettle, because the temperature should be high to make the faces melt a little.

Step 4: Hot Glue the Crystals on Your Lamp

Use your hot glue gun to mount the crystals on your lamp. Use some leftover glue sticks to decorate the edges with small shards.

Step 5: Enjoy!
