The anticipated Mercedes-Benz eVito already has definitive specifications. It is the first 100% electric commercial vehicle of the brand, which for now is put on sale in the main European markets in van and passenger versions (tourer). The eVito is manufactured at the Spanish plant in Vitoria and will be offered with a three-phase electric motor installed on the front axle, which generates 85 kW (116 Hp) and 221 Lb-ft of torque. This block is powered by a three-module lithium-ion battery located under the floor of the vehicle, whose 100% recharge takes 6 hours. This battery generates 41 kWh (35 kWh available) for a range of 150 kilometers with a load. The eVito van is available with two wheelbase. The basic model L2 has a length of 5,140 mm and a maximum load capacity of 1,016 kilos in 6.0 m3 of volume, comparable to the Vito with combustion engine. The extra long version L3 measures 5,370 mm and has a loading space of 6.6 m3, being able to transport up to 991 kilos. The maximum total weight allowed is 3,200 kilos. In the case of the Tourer variant, the installation of the battery modules under the floor allows it to offer a capacity of eight to nine passengers in three rows of seats. As for equipment, the eVito offers a PURE package, which includes an assistant on slopes, folding electric mirrors, electric sliding doors, adaptive lights, Mercedes PRO infotainment system, heated seats, climate control, among others.
