LeBron James cries at the airport after receiving the news of the death of Kobe Bryant

The NBA legend passed away with one of his daughters and seven other people, when his private helicopter crashed on the morning of January 26.

Just one day before the accident, Bryant congratulated LeBron James for having exceeded his NBA score record (33,463 points), reaching 33,644 points, and moving to third place in the all-time scoring list.

"Much respect to my brother for 33,644," Bryant said through his Twitter account.

 

 

According to the Los Angeles Times, LeBron James "idolized Bryant as a teenager and sought to follow his example in the NBA."

Bryant was one of the most important players in the history of basketball. After being 'drafted' in 1996, he played for 20 years at the Los Angeles Lakers, before retiring with 38 years.
