King_of_lion Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 A massive night of stock car racing takes place at Lynn tomorrow (5.30pm) with a meeting that will delight BriSCA fans everywhere as it sees both the BriSCA F1 and BriSCA F2 stock cars. A gigantic turnout of F1 stock cars are booked for action with an astonishing 79 cars set to appear. With the World Final taking place at Saddlebow Road two weeks later the event will have an international feel about it with competitors coming from all over the UK, mainland Europe and even travelling from New Zealand to help get them to grips with the Lynn shale before the all important World final. Tomorrow is an important night in itself and will see the World Consolation semi-final taking place which is open to UK drivers who failed to qualify for the World Final through their semi-final and has two places up for grabs. The race includes some big names who will be looking to make amends for falling at the last four hurdle, including 2017 World Champion Nigel Green and star grade drivers Mick Sworder and Mark Gilbank. Heacham’s Willie Skoyles will also be in action in the F1 stock cars on Saturday. With the F1s making their first appearance here since May local fans will be keen to see the progress Skoyles has been making in this very hard formula to compete in and the West Norfolk driver is looking forward to getting back in front of his fans. More than 50 F2 stock cars will also be in action in support with the entry including Lynn brothers Rob and Scott Aldridge. Scott was a winner in the F2s at Mildenhall last weekend and he will be looking to keep that form going. A huge Bank Holiday crowd were at Lynn on Monday where the big van bangers provided some scorching action to match the temperature. Kieran Bowman, Russell Gill, Gavin Oakes and Joel Allen were in the big van bangers while Luke Allen raced for Team Ice Cream in the two-litre banger Norfolk teams. Of the West Norfolk drivers, Bowman and Gill both took home entertainer awards after great on-track displays. Luke Allen helped propel his team into second place in the entertainer standings in the Norfolk teams.
