Jultxxxyes
In its eagerness to become one of the car brands with a wide variety of electric models, Kia Motors Corporation created the "Plan S", a medium and long term strategy that includes mobility and electrification services, as well as connectivity and vehicle autonomy. As part of this strategy, Kia intends that by the end of 2025 it will have a full range of 11 electric vehicles with battery (BEV). With this offer, the Korean brand tries to reach a 6.6 percent share of the global electric vehicle market (excluding China) and, at the same time, make a quarter of the company's sales be green cars. Similarly, by 2026, Kia expects to market 500,000 electric vehicles annually and one million electrified vehicles worldwide (excluding China). In order to achieve these goals that are part of the Plan, Kia Motors will invest until the end of 2025 a total of 22,500 million euros to establish leadership in the electrification of vehicles and diversify its business. At the same time, the company will look for innovations in all areas, ranging from brand identity, corporate identity, design identity and user experience, among others. Basically, Kia's goal is to allow customers to experience, feel and directly understand this evolution as that of a company that defends electric vehicles and mobility solutions. All this new era of Kia focused on electrification will begin in 2021 with the launch of an exclusively electric vehicle, which will be built on a specific platform designed to house the propulsion system and electrical technologies. At the same time, it will offer a design that will blur the boundaries between SUVs and sports cars, a future-oriented user experience, a driving autonomy with a single load of more than 500 kilometers and a high-speed charging time of less than 20 minutes In emerging markets, Kia will focus on expanding sales of vehicles with an internal combustion engine, while reviewing the selective entry of electric cars based on the demand of each market.
