[MC]Ronin[MC] Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Vilner revives 20-year-old Porsche 911 with skin tones The studio made its boldest Porsche interior for this 911 Cabriolet. Atanas Wilner and his team are rolling out this 20-year-old 911 Cabriolet, bringing them back into the world of specialist specialties. The main material for the transformation is Wilner's favorite skin, in this case brown. The board is fully upholstered with white and blue contrasting seams. The interesting contrast between leather and wood is noticeable in several places, most notably in the steering wheel. The X-shaped baseball technique is used on both sides of the seats (and in the upholstery of the dash above the dashboard), as well as in the bottom of the door bark. They themselves are made with large wooden applications with soft leather inserts, comfortable for the elbows. There are similar pads on the side of the center console, in the driver's and passenger's knee area. “Although old, this Porsche 996 Carrera Cabriolet remains a true sports car. And as such, it is good for your body to feel comfortable in the areas where it interacts with parts of the interior when driving more aggressively, ”explains Atanas Wilner. Wilner All standard gray plastic details in the cabin are painted in a new shade by Vilner Copper Rose. This is a special paint developed by Wilner under the program of BASF's R-M The Code and first used in the Datsun 280Z project. Source: Vilner The fine details finishing the project are the metal badge with the V logo in the steering wheel rim, the caps above the glove compartment and in the seats, painted in a special color, together with the PORSCHE BY VILNER seat plates. "Too bold? We have never done mediocre things. And, after all, in a world where cars share more and more common components, being different is a luxury. A luxury we can afford, "Wilner sums up. Quote
