Japanese billionaire and playboy Yusaku Maezawa has announced a contest for girls who would like to accompany him on a trip to the moon and in the meantime marry him. Maezava posted the eccentric announcement on his Twitter account, RIA Novosti reports.

The businessman defines his project in search of a woman "matchmaking for a serious relationship", explaining in his post that his long-standing dream is to travel to space.

"In this special place - the moon, you have to go with a special person. Through this project, I also want to find a partner in life. A contest is being announced for girls who would like to engage in activities with Maezawa for the benefit of people and society, "a billionaire company said in a statement.

The ladies applying for the competition must be single and unmarried, over the age of 20, be positive and cheerful. In addition, they must be prepared to seriously start preparing for the flight. They need to have a positive attitude in their lives, be able to express their opinions to Maezawa freely, and think about how peace can be made in the world. The contest will run until January 17.

In 2018, Maezawa announced that she could take her then-favorite Goriki Ayame, a Japanese model and actress, with him to sing on the moon. In early December last year, in an interview with one of the Japanese television channels, he stated that the girl had been separated and would not go to the moon. As the main reason for the separation, the billionaire points out that the 27-year-old Goriki did not put all her strength into training and flight preparation, but wanted to focus more on her acting career. The 44-year-old billionaire adds that he wanted to marry her at one time, but because of their different attitudes about traveling to the moon, their paths diverged.
