[MC]Ronin[MC] Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Nikolai Yorgov is preparing to blow the SENSHI ring for the fifth time Nikolai Yorgov is preparing for the fifth victory of the SENSHI battle chain. On February 22 at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna, Yorgov will try to win a new cup from the ring of the fifth edition of the spectacular gala. This will also be his fifth consecutive appearance in the heavyweight gala, making him the record holder for SENSHI appearances. Last year was extremely successful for the talented Bulgarian fighter who in March became a silver medalist at the WMF World Muay Thai Championship. A few months later, in October 2019, Yorgov's participation in SENSHI 4 ended with fireworks after the Bulgarian knocked out Japanese Kyokushin champion Joe Miahara in Varna. The meeting between the two took place under the rules of the Professional League of Kyokushin Union in the category up to 80 kg. Three of Joergov's four appearances in SENSHI ended in victory. He only failed to make it to the finals in July, when an injury ended his flawless streak after a difficult and contested encounter. Nikolai Yorgov has a silver medal from the 2013 KWU Karate Kyokushin World Championship, is a multiple national champion, champion of Japan, as well as a world champion in hand-to-hand combat, Shinken Shobu style. The organizers still keep a secret of who will enter the ring against Jorgov at SENSHI 5, but certainly the challenge for the Bulgarian talent will be great. On February 22 in Varna, the battle gala will offer 9 spectacular duels featuring some of the biggest names in the karate kiokushin kickboxes. We expect that this time in the ring will be spectacular clashes according to the rules of SENSHI, which is also a trademark of the elite gala. They are allowed blows to the head, elbows, transfers.
