Levski Lukoil made it difficult, but Spartak Pleven shot

 

Levski Lukoil did not allow a surprise in his last household for 2019 and beat Spartak Pleven 96:77 to secure the first place in the NBA standings. The silver medalists from last season grabbed their twelfth win after a convincing third quarter, in which they broke away w the result and then left no chances for the away team.

Hristo Zahariev scored the most for Sofia, with 19 points, Brendan Young scoring 14 and Ryan Wright scoring 13. Chavdar Kostov returned to the game after a long absence and reported 9 points, all of which came from the three-point zone.

The home side had the lead at one point in 10 minutes - 19:18. Spartacus played better in the second half, leading several times and eventually withdrawing with a more than surprising advance of 42:39 at halftime.

Levski Lukoil's 19-2 series to start the second half completely crushed the Pleven, and the Blue went ahead with 70:56 after 30 minutes. In the remaining ten, they added five more points to the final score of 96:77.

Nikolay Marinov with 20 points and Dimitar Marincheshki with 16 were top performers for Spartak.
