Denmark is preparing a new law on clean air, which envisages action in the next 10 years, DarikNews.bg reported.

The government will be required to take action to reduce up to 70% of carbon dioxide emissions.

Climate neutrality is planned in the next 30 years (carbon dioxide emissions will not exceed the volume that can be absorbed).

The objectives are intended to be binding on the present and future governments. Representatives of the parties supporting the law occupy 167 positions in the 179-seat parliament.

The law is about to be approved soon.
