Russian ice hockey player Alexánder Ovechkin, captain of the Washington Capitals US team, resorted to a torch in the middle of the game to 'fix' his helmet.

According to the sports portal reporter The Athletic, Tarik El-Bashir, Ovechkin told that media outlet that he used the blowtorch to remove a sticker from the helmet's visor, that he "was going crazy" and could not remove it.

The Washington Capitals won on Wednesday the Los Angeles Kings (3-1) in a duel corresponding to the American National Hockey League (NHL).
