Inter has dealt with the tough Slavia in Prague and holds the fate in their hands

The team of Inter achieved a very important victory in their visit to Slavia Prague 3: 1 and kept the chances of participation of the semifinals in the Champions League. Lautaro Martinez opened for the Nerazzurra in the 19th, but Tomasz Sucek evened from the penalty spot in the 37th minute. However, with two goals in the last ten minutes, Romelu Lukaku and again Martinez brought the three points for the visitors.

Twice, VAR was not on the side of the guests as their goals were not scored, and at the same time a penalty was awarded in favor of the hosts.

The hosts had the first opportunity of the match. In the 5th minute Stasil shot his head close, but the ball went over the door.

Lautaro Martinez made the first first dangerous shot in the direction of Slavia's door, but he passed close to the beam.

In the 19th minute, the visitors found the result. Romelu Lukaku broke through on the right and managed to deal with two defenders, then passed for Lautaro Martinez, who scored.

The Czechs could have leveled the score in the 27th minute when Michal Friedrich shot his head after a corner kick but failed to hit Samir Handanovic's goal.

In the 35th minute came perhaps the most debating moment of the meeting. Lautaro Martinez took advantage of a mistake by the home side's defender and took the ball away, then passed to Romelu Lukaku, who scored for Inter. Then, however, the referee of the meeting, Simon Marciniak, consulted the VAR system for an offense shortly before the goal. It turned out that Stefan de Fry had slammed Peter Olinka in his own penalty box and instead of scoring for the Nerazzurri, the referee gave a penalty for Slavia. Tomasz Soucek did not falter and scored for 1: 1.

In the second half Inter was the only team on the pitch.

In the 50th minute, Lukaku tried to elegantly score Marcelo Brozovic's pass, but failed, but proved to be ambushed.

Five minutes later, Brozovic fired a dangerous shot but over the door.

The Czechs also had some good positions to score. First, in the 63rd minute, Masopust's attempt at a rebound shot was saved by Samir Handanovic.

Ibrahim Traore then fired from about 25 yards out but missed a little.

In the 65th minute, Lukaku had a header but the ball met the beam. Shortly thereafter, Brozovic's long shot met the crossbar.

In the 78th minute, Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez missed a goal by himself.

Three minutes later, however, the visitors reached the second goal. Lukaku got a pass from deep, Slavia's defender slipped and left the Belgian alone against the goalkeeper, who passed him and put him in the empty goal for 1: 2.

Two minutes before the end of the match, Lukaku crosses for Lautaro Martinez, who voluntarily scored a beautiful goal for the final 1-3.

In the added time, the Nerazzurrs also recorded a fourth hit through Lukaku, but again the VAR did not count the hit because of an ambush.

With this victory, Antonio Conte's players collected a seven-point asset and climbed to the second position in Group F. Slavia remained last with two points.

In their last match of the group stage, Inter takes on Barcelona and will look for a mandatory victory if they want to participate in the elimination phase of the tournament, as Borussia Dortmund take home the team of Slavia Prague.
