[Nike]
The Ryzen Threadripper 3960X and Threadripper 3970X processors were launched yesterday. The two AMD processors have positioned themselves as authentic beasts of computing in benchmarks. But it is also that the Threadripper 3970X is left to handle quite well. Note that to raise 1.0GHz (more or less) a good amount of liquid nitrogen has been needed. The Threadripper 3970X has 32 cores and 64 processing threads. This processor works at a base frequency of 3.7GHz and arrives in Boost mode at 4.5GHz. It has this processor with 128MB of L3 cache. Supports DDR4 @ 3200MHz memories in Quad Channel configuration. It has a TDP of 280W and a price of $ 1,999, which in exchange will be about 2,150 euros. Liquid nitrogen to push the processor to the limit This processor has passed through the hands of the Taiwanese professional overclocker TSAI. He has managed to get the Threadripper 3970X to reach 5,752Mz in all its cores. To achieve this, he has used the MSI TRX40 Creator motherboard and a voltage of 1.1V. As we have said, it has used a lot of liquid nitrogen for temperature management. Unfortunately their brands have been beaten quickly. Thanks to his experience a lot of work has managed to break a lot of records. In Cinebench R20 with a frequency of 5.5GHz this processor frame 24,049 points. Under Geekbench 3 with a frequency of 5,521.1MHz it has scored 183,318 points. With Geekbench 4 at a frequency of 4.2GHz it has scored 62,483 points and with HWBOT X265 4K at a frequency of 5.26GHz it has managed to give 68.93FPS.
