[MC]Ronin[MC] Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 The Citroen C5 Aircross becomes a hybrid At the Paris Motor Show, French manufacturer Citroen will unveil the C5 Aircross concept car, which will receive the Hybrid Concept. The company claims it is a fully-finished car that will hit the market in 2019. Under the hood of the model is the well-known 180hp 1.6-liter PureTech petrol turbo engine. It is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission that houses an 109hp electric motor. The aggregate power of the units is 225 hp. and 337 Nm of torque. The lithium-ion battery operates at 200 volts and is located under the front seats. Its capacity of 13.2 kW / h should give the hybrid car a 50 km run only on electricity. When plugged into a standard transmission network, the Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid battery is charged for 4-8 hours. If a 32 amp device is used, the time is shortened to 2 hours. Along with the Citroen C5 Aircross Hybrid Concept crossover, the PSA Group will also launch in Paris bootable hybrids based on the Peugeot 508 liftback and DS 7 Crossback crossover. It is also expected to premiere on the electric premium crossover DS 3 Crossback with a 50 kW / h battery.
