The draw caressed Bulgaria on its way to Euro 2020

Предстои важен ден за българския футбол

The Bulgarian national football team cannot complain about the lot that fell to it in the playoff phase of the Nations League tournament, which also gives way to Euro 2020. Georgi Dermendzhiev's boys broke up with the tricky stream C and ended up in stream A .

Thus, this hosted the semifinals of Hungary. This match will be on March 26, 2020 at Vasil Levski National Stadium. And if we deal with the tough Magyars, we will host again at the final, which is the other good news from this draw.

If we reach this stage, on March 31st in Sofia we will face the winner of the match between Iceland and Romania. These two teams will argue in Reykjavik and the winner will head to Sofia or Budapest. The ultimate winner of this stream is quotaing for Euro 2020.

Draw:

The Bulgarian team is in stream A after Israel was withdrawn to play in stream C against Scotland. Which means that our opponent will be Hungary, and because of our higher ranking, we will host the semi-finals on March 26th. In the final we will meet the winner of the match Iceland - Romania on March 31st.

Subsequently, the draw stated that we would also host the eventual final with the winner of the match between Iceland and Romania. Here's the distribution of the final clashes in these different streams:

stream ? Georgia / Belarus - Northern Macedonia / Kosovo

stream ? Norway / Serbia - Scotland / Israel

stream ? Bosnia and Herzegovina / Northern Ireland - Slovakia / Ireland

stream A: Bulgaria / Hungary - Iceland / Romania
