No privileges for Bulgarians after Brexit

"Everyone who arrives here will be treated equally," said Boris Johnson

 

The Conservative Party in Britain today announced that it will treat EU citizens the same way as immigrants from other countries in the world.

This will happen if the Conservatives win the parliamentary elections in the country on December 12 and after the deadline agreed with Brussels for January 2021 for the free movement of people.

Outlining details of their immigration policy after Brexit, the Conservatives argued that EU citizens would have to wait, like everyone else, for 5 years before accessing social benefits, and would have to pay an additional fee for to gain access to the British National Health System.

"It is not appropriate for people from Bulgaria and Slovenia to come to the United Kingdom without any restrictions and automatically receive rights that do not come from Bangladesh or Singapore," Brexit Minister Michael Gove said in Daily Mail.

Boris Johnson Conservatives are planning to introduce a new immigration system by 2021, whereby all foreigners are evaluated through a point-based visa system. For access to UK healthcare, immigrants will pay a fee of £ 625 or health insurance.
