This will happen if the Conservatives win the parliamentary elections in the country on December 12 and after the deadline agreed with Brussels for January 2021 for the free movement of people. Outlining details of their immigration policy after Brexit, the Conservatives argued that EU citizens would have to wait, like everyone else, for 5 years before accessing social benefits, and would have to pay an additional fee for to gain access to the British National Health System. "It is not appropriate for people from Bulgaria and Slovenia to come to the United Kingdom without any restrictions and automatically receive rights that do not come from Bangladesh or Singapore," Brexit Minister Michael Gove said in Daily Mail.
