[Nike]
When 2007 GranTurismo was launched, it was a great hit for Maserati and in fact, it was one of the pillars that sustained the return in glory and majesty of the Italian brand. Just in the transition period between Fiat and Chrysler were coming together, this successor of the Maserati Coupé led the brand to the gestation of other models, such as the sixth generation of Quattroporte, the Ghibli and of course, the Levant. But Maserati is preparing for an important change in its history, one that goes hand in hand with electromobility and of course, GranTurismo is its longest-running model; It is time for a farewell, to leave room for what is coming. To commemorate this milestone, Maserati created the GranTurismo Zéda special edition, which has a peculiar combination of colors. The front of this GranTurismo exhibits a beautiful and lustrous Maserati blue color, but as we go back, the color is mutating to a kind of steely gray, to give rise to a satin white color. This, according to Maserati is to represent the fact of a transition, that the Zéda is a bridge that connects the past, the present and the near future of the brand. Zéda means Zeta in Modena jargon, the last letter of the alphabet, but with the symbolism that every final also brings with it a new rebirth. And what is the future? We know that everything has to do with electrification for the trident brand and there is a roadmap already defined for the next few years. In 2020 we should see facelifts for both Ghibli and Levante and Quattroporte, at the time that the new and revolutionary electric sports of the brand will debut, with no name yet. By 2021, the development will focus on a SUV more compact than the Levante, the convertible version of the electric sports car and the new generation of the car that says goodbye today, the GranTurismo. During 2022, there will be only two models to be launched, the new GranCabrio and the seventh generation of Quattroporte. 2023 has only one model in its sights, the second generation of the Levant. 2
