Gigabyte announced a new BIOS for AMD Ryzen processors. The company announces the availability of the F50 BIOS based on the AGESA 1.0.0.4B microcode. This new BIOS offers us a performance optimization to improve the user experience. Although the new microcode was announced a few weeks ago, adaptation always requires some time, since adjustments must always be made.

Theoretically, the new AGESA 1.0.0.4B microcode should correct the frequency of Ryzen processors. While AMD released a patch, which corrected it, there were still some adjustments to be made. In addition, this new BIOS offers improvements in system startup. These are some of the improvements offered by this new microcode.

This new microcode allows to improve the starting speed by 35%. In addition, the Raven Ridge APU support for the X570 chipset is reinforced. Compatibility has also been improved in terms of RAID SATA and NVMe functions on X570 platforms. Gigabyte's Q-Flash Plus technology is available on X570 motherboards, which allows you to easily update the F10 BIOS without the need for a processor, memory, graphics and even without booting the PC.

The company notes that it has waited for a fully stable BIOS to be available. This allows users to guarantee a BIOS tested and validated by engineers. It seeks to offer the performance improvement and maximum compatibility with Gigabyte motherboards.
