Yvelin Popov leaves Rostov?

The captain of the Bulgarian national team Ivelin Popov may leave his current team Rostov, media in Russia write today. The club is plagued by serious financial problems, according to local press, team mentor Valery Karpin and some of the big stars, including Ivelin Popov, will be leaving soon.

The players and the coaching staff did not receive salaries and bonuses, and the only financing for the club is provided by a company owned by Rostov's president - Artashes Harutyunyants.

It is assumed that the club will be abandoned by names such as Dmitry Chistyakov, Matias Norman, Roman Eremenko and Eldor Shomurodov.
