Skoda has one of the most powerful supercomputers in the Czech Republic

As one of the leading IT companies in the Czech Republic, Skoda Auto will use the most powerful commercial supercomputer in the country at its headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, writes Automotive Cluster Bulgaria.

With a computing power of two petaflops, the machine is capable of two quadrillion operations per second, thus enabling serious aerodynamic testing.

Skoda will use its computing power to develop new safety systems and work on its future engines. Capacity of the data center will reach 15 petaflops, which equates to a computing power of 15 quadrillion operations per second.
