The Mexican specialist has replaced interim mentor Luis Sembranos, who is returning to the doubles team. The 60-year-old Aguirre is a former coach of Osasuna, Zaragoza and Espanyol, as well as Atletico Madrid from 2006 to 2009, when Martin Petrov was on the team. As a coach he has over 350 matches in the Spanish Championship. Last Aguire leads the national team of Egypt. Leganes is the latest in La Liga with an asset of 5 points after 12 games and is in six of the rescue zone.
