In little more than a month and a half (in 50 days to be exact), the heir to the Duchy of Alba, Fernando Fitz-James Stuart and Sofia Palazuelo will marry. This is all we know

There are 50 days left for the expected wedding between Sofía Palazuelo and Fernando Fitz-James Stuart Solís. A link that will not only be worth the title of Duchess Consort of Huéscar (with Greatness of Spain) but will make it the future Duchess of Alba. A commitment to the national nobility and to the aristocratic tradition, which is surely a great responsibility for her and that will place her in the media raid, even more so.

Her future husband, so far, has tried to keep a media profile as low as possible. And she, ditto. An aspect that little by little has been changing since the wedding announcement.

50 days, 5 details

Since then, although with droppers, they have been revealing wedding details. From the place of the link to one of the most po[CENSORED]r gifts. Now, the real countdown to each bride begins, these are the secrets we know for now of the link of the year:

The date. Naturally, one of the data that we have already indicated in red in our calendars is the expected wedding date. On Saturday, October 6 (exactly within 50 days), the happy couple will sing the 'yes I want' surrounded by family and friends in what will be one of the aristocratic weddings of the decade. Not every day does the heir marry the duchy of Alba.
The place. It will, as it could not be otherwise, in the Madrid palace of Liria, which will open its doors to the hundreds of privileged guests who witness such a union. A scenario at the height of the event that, by courtesy and protocol, could even attend the Infanta Elena with one of her children.

The Renoir The Duke of Alba was the first to deliver his wedding gift to his firstborn son and heir. The former Duke of Huéscar, Carlos Fitz-James, has bequeathed to the couple one of Cayetana de Alba's favorite paintings, 'Bust of a woman with a cherry hat', painted by Renoir in 1880, as advanced 'Heart '.

Wedding dress. With an aunt designer bride, the choice in this regard was 'easy'. Although we do not know (as is logical) the characteristics and details of the dress with which Sofia will parade towards her destination with Carlos, the truth is that everything points to Teresa Palazuelo being responsible for shaping it. In addition, it cannot be said that he has no experience with brides of high ancestry: among others he dressed Eva Morejón in 2013 at his wedding with the son (and heir) of the Marquis de la Motilla and Carmen Tello (intimate of the Duchess of Alba) .

A simple menu The person in charge of serving the wonderful dinner to the guests of the link will be Ciboulette Catering, one of the favorites of the Casa de Alba and the high society of the capital. As 'ABC' advanced, after the test of the menu of the bride and groom (which they attended accompanied by the parents of both), a simple menu consisting of three dishes will be served, which will culminate with a delicious Arabic cake (of wafers and custard cream). A dessert nothing ostentatious that predicts that the rest of the preparations will shine for its simplicity, style that marks the day to day of the bride.

The great unknown

Without a doubt, one of the great unknowns of the wedding will be the assistance of Alfonso Diez. The one who was the husband of the Duchess of Alba during his last years does not have a completely idyllic and close relationship with all the descendants of the missing Cayetana de Alba.

Although no confrontation has ever been leaked and there was no disagreement between the duchess's grandson and his widower, the truth is that nobody expects him to attend the link. Doing so would be one of the great surprises of the day and would demonstrate the desire of the Duke of Huéscar to keep his grandmother's memory as alive as possible during one of the most important days of his life.
