Core i9-9900KS: Intel announces that this processor will arrive on October 30 and will be around 550 euros

In recent months we have talked a lot about the Intel Core-i9 9900KS processor. The company had already started talking about this processor, which had not been officially introduced. This 8-core and 16-wire processor that will reach 5.0GHz in all its cores will be released on October 30. You will not have integrated graphics to lower temperatures a bit.

A few hours ago Intel has also presented the accounts for the third quarter of this year. The interesting thing is that the company has achieved the highest revenue in its history and has exceeded forecasts in 1.2 billion dollars. Almost 50% of its sales are from the Data Centers segment, while the desktop processor market shrinks 5%.

Intel officially announces the Core i9-9900KS processor

This new Intel processor, as we said, has 8 cores and 16 processing threads. It works at a base frequency of 4.0GHz and in Boost mode it will reach 5.0GHz in all cores. It has 16MB of Smart Cache, it has up to 40 PCIe 3.0 x16 lines and a TDP of 127W. This processor is based on the Skylake architecture and 14nm ++ lithography.

The company sells this processor as 35% more powerful in games than its predecessors. Specifically, "compared to a PC from 3 years ago." It will surely also be more powerful than an Intel Q6600, but the current competition is not the 6700K with 4 cores and 8 threads, but the Ryzen 3000.
