It's time for the classic - Manchester United vs Liverpool

Sunday in the Premier League's 9th round program can only be saved for a single match - Manchester United face Liverpool in yet another episode of the rivalry between the two biggest titles in English football.

The clash could not find the two teams more pole situations - Liverpool is a confident leader in the ranking with 24 out of 24 possible points, while United are close to the relegation zone. The Reds appear to be a clear favorite, though the Old Trafford factor should not be underestimated.

Most recently, Liverpool won in the middle of the "Theater of Dreams" in 2014, and this is traditionally perhaps their most difficult stadium to visit. As we know, the current form is often unrelated to such a derby, and United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is leaning against the wall in need of positive results.

The Norwegian on top is further hampered by injuries at his camp. Two of the big stars - midfielder Paul Pogba and goalkeeper David de Gea - will, to the last, be questioned for their injuries. The latter appeared at the gathering before the meeting, raising hopes that he might still be online. There are also doubts about the status of Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot, Timothy Foss-Mensa and Mason Greenwood. Right fielder Aaron Wan-Bissaka is expected to return after the virus knocked him out. Anthony Martial also seems ready to play.

At the same time, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klop has almost all his players at his disposal. Firmly out of the match due to injury is winger Jerdan Shakiri. Joel Matip should start as the holder next to Virgil van Dyke. Nabi Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are expected to be on the bench as shifts that could make the difference, and star Mohamed Salah is recovered from the blow he suffered at the end of the game in a dramatic 2-1 victory over Leicester City .

What does the statistics indicate?

- Manchester United have only won one of their last 7 Premier League games. 9 points, 9 goals scored after 8 rounds seems like a pretty unsatisfactory asset

- United know how to bring headaches to Liverpool on their own pitch. The Reds have only one major league win amid Old Trafford since 2010 (2 draws, 7 losses).

- The Red Devils have scored 4 goals against Chelsea at home in the first round of the Championship, but then have scored exactly one goal in each of their last 4 households in all tournaments.

- Liverpool are coming out with the intention of leveling the record for consecutive wins in the Premier League, and if successful today, Klop's team will be in a series of 18 consecutive wins. Last season Liverpool gained 31 points more than United, and so far after 8 rounds the difference between the two teams is 15.

- In his five visits under the direction of Jurgen Klop, Liverpool have scored not very impressive 3 goals at Old Trafford. Since March 2014, when Liverpool won 3-0 at home to the big rival, only one player has managed to sign there in the Premier League. It was Christian Benteke who scored with a back scissor in September 2015 with a 1: 3 defeat.
