Five new hybrid-powered models are driving the Toyota formation. The whole staff will be able to be seen at the Sofia Motor Show

Modern football today has nothing to do with the playing style of five years ago. Today, the best coaches and teams profess a philosophy and strategy that requires a mandatory three on offense to chase the titles.

In a car championship, the rules of the game may change, but not the values. Three assaults are absolutely essential in order to chase success in such a competitive environment. Toyota's offensive trio in March this year is the Corolla, RAV4 and Camry, and behind them is the updated C-HR.

If the charts are a certificate of quality, then the one topped by Corolla is the most important of all: over 46 million (by 2019) cars sold, making it the best-selling model in the world! Corolla is one of those names that will always serve as an example by which others are compared and respected by absolutely everyone.

At the beginning of March the official premiere of the new Toyota Corolla took place in our country. The show will feature the entire model family consisting of the Corolla, Corolla hatchback and Corolla Touring Sports.

A major change in the new Corolla model range is the development of models on the new Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) GA-C platform, which not only gives better road behavior but also gives designers the freedom to give each type of coupe an individual look . The center of gravity is reduced by 10 mm, which contributes to more stability on the road and therefore a sense of confidence and serenity on the road.

Following the brand's continued focus on self-loading hybrid technology, the all-new Corolla comes with two conventional engines: a 1.2-liter 116hp turbo petrol. the hatchback and Touring Sports and the 1.6-liter 132hp. at the sedan. However, as a leader in hybrid powertrain, Toyota is developing this technology and market.

Toyota first offers a choice between two Hatchback and Touring Sports hybrid engines: a modified 122hp 1.8-liter petrol engine. With this combination, the average hatchback and station wagon consumption is 3.3 l / 100 km, while the sedan consumes 3.4 l / 100 km.

The other engine is the all-new 2.0-liter 180hp Hybrid Dynamic Force. and 190 Nm of torque, working in conjunction with an 80 Kw motor. With this hybrid drive, the hatchback and station wagon consume an average of 3.7 liters / 100 km of gasoline, but with significantly better acceleration up to 100 km / h in 7.9 and 8.1 seconds respectively.

At the center of the attack is the fifth-generation Toyota RAV4. The success of the previous four generations will now be built on, for the first time the central striker in the brand in Europe has stepped on the Toyota GA-K platform, which was first used in the SUV.

With its low center of gravity and significantly increased body torsion resistance, the new RAV4 platform directly contributes to improved steering, comfort and interior space leading to class space in the boot (580 liters when the seats are raised), as well as freedom designers.

The new RAV4 remains a unique offering in its class because it offers customers a self-loading hybrid drive system - chosen by the majority of consumers in Europe (85% in 2018). The new 2.5-liter, 218-hp Hybrid Dynamic Force engine front-wheel drive, and 222 bhp Four-wheel drive makes the model even more attractive to customers, delivering significant improvements in power, responsiveness and efficiency with best-in-class fuel economy and emissions levels.

The RAV4 Hybrid's new AWD-i electrical system has been completely redesigned and enhanced to provide much higher performance under difficult conditions and secure slippery control.

The offensive trio is complemented by a Toyota Camry on the right flank. The model has been on sale in Bulgaria since March, but is highly recognizable by the general public. And while Camry is here to replace Avensis, the model has already gained more than 19 million worldwide sales in nearly 40 years.

Toyota Camry comes with the all-new Hybrid Dynamic Force Hybrid system with a 2.5-liter 218hp engine. It works in conjunction with battery, electric motor and CVT transmission, a combination that Lexus ES also offers.

The Camry also lies on the new TNGA platform, and like the entire Toyota lineup, it comes with Toyota Safety Sense, which provides a unique suite of advanced driving assistance technologies. Radars and cameras help you in every aspect - from spotting a potential collision to tracking road signs. You can use the option (deadlock monitoring in the BSM mirror) to safely change lanes, while the intelligent sonar and the rear-assisted vehicle rearview assist system (RCTA) helps you easily park in reverse.

The whole team with the three in attack will be visible in the halls of Sofia's Expo Center from October 12 to 20, when the Sofia Motor Show will be held in 2019.
