Lamborghini is not for sale: Volkswagen Group

After it became public that the Volkswagen Group was considering putting Lamborghini on sale, the German consortium has announced its position.

Senior executives of VW have mentioned that the Italian manufacturer will not cease to be part of the consortium, to which it belongs since 1998, when the German company was under the command of Ferdinand Piëch.

Regardless of whether the Volkswagen Group denied the sale of Lamborghini, it is a fact that it would not be logical to transfer to the Sant'Agata Bolognese firm because of the excellent financial moment it is going through. Thanks to the development of Urus, the Italian manufacturer has reached a value of about $ 11,000 million.

What is a fact is that even with this figure, the investors of the German conglomerate believe that the best thing for the company is to simplify its structure in which today all kinds of brands are found, from super cars -Lamborghini and Bugatti - even trucks -Scania and MAN, not to mention the motorcycles -Ducati-.
