Electric Kinetik 07 is made by Bulgarians, has 480 kWh of power and accelerates to 100 km / h in 27 seconds!

While we are waiting for a new candidate to build a car factory, something happened here that we have seen once before, although the ideas of Rosen Daskalov and Teodosii Teodosiev are radically different. The premiere of the sports electric car Kinetik 07 took place at the end of last week. The event took place at the John Atanasov Building in Sofia Tech Park, with Theodosii Teodosiev and Kostadin Kostadinov (designer) behind the project.

The original idea for the two was to make an electric version of the legendary Lotus 7, but gradually came up with a different concept. And it is to make their car, most of which is native production. The result is that over 90% of the software is written in Varna, and over 90% of the parts are made on the largest 3D printer in the Balkans, the rest are carbon and aluminum. The chassis is on British Caterham. The company is currently looking for a type-approval in the United States, not the traditional British for this type of brand.

Here are the numbers. The power of the YASA electric motor is 480 kWh (653 hp) and the maximum torque is 800 Nm. Nothing is said about the battery or its charging details. The makers of 07, however, say their baby accelerates to 100 km / h in 2.7 seconds. Drivers will be offered Eco and Race modes. The suspension is adaptive with Ohlins shock absorbers, Brembo brakes. The concentration of the makers of the model was aimed at creating the simplest and lightest car to offer exceptional emotions behind the wheel.

The idea is to make a limited edition of 8 pieces, testing the potential of Kinetik 07 first in California and then across the French Riviera.
