McLaren BC-03, the hybrid hypercar jumps from the video game to reality

Since McLaren created the Ultimate Vision GT for the renowned game that talks about a possible version for the real world. The idea was reinforced with the new regulation of hypercars for LeMans 2020. And as if that were not enough, the McLaren Speedtail and its hybrid mechanics finished reinforcing the idea of a new extreme racing car of the English brand.

The confirmation of all these rumors and wishes came from the command of a leak in the Supercarpress network. According to this publication the code name of the hypercar is BC-30, it will be based on the Ultimate Vision GT and very few units will be made to order.

At first glance, it loses some radical elements of the virtual model, but it stands out because of the rear end and the immense wing. In addition, the number also refers to the future regulation of the French 24 hours.

Hyper power

According to speculation, the BC-30 (or whatever it is called when finished) will exceed 1,000 horses using a variation of the mechanics developed for the Speedtail. There is talk of a 4.0L V8 behind the driver's back and two electric motors in the front train.
