Vettel took the Suzuka qualification with a world record

 

German Sebastian Vettel will start from the half-position in the Big City of Japan race, the 17th round of the Formula One World Championships.

He won the deferred qualification of the Suzuka track, which was due to take place yesterday. This was the fifth consecutive success for Ferrari in the official allocation seats.

 

Charles Löckler has four consecutive first place qualifiers, respectively in Belgium, Italy, Singapore and Russia. The success was the first for the German to qualify for the Canadian Grand Prix.

Vettel turned in phenomenal laps and set a world record of 1: 27.064. His teammate Charles Löckler did his best, but remained second.

The Mercedes pilots, who were the fastest in Friday's training, failed to stop the Scuderia, but Valterie Botas continued to be faster than Lewis Hamilton. The Red Bulls were half an hour behind them, and at least for now it was impossible to see how Max Verstapen could catch them. He finished fifth and teammate Alex Albon placed sixth.
