Although its sale is only available for the Australian market, it is very worth talking about this limited edition of 500 units of the Ford muscle car: the Mustang R-Spec.

Each of the pony cars developed in collaboration with the Herrod Performance tuner, have as a letter of introduction the enormous amount of power and aerodynamic and aesthetic improvement.

At first glance, what most attracts the attention of the Ford Mustang R-Spec is the treatment to which the body was subjected by means of a kit consisting of a spoiler, a larger bumper, a redesigned grille and a bonnet with an inlet ventilation.

Likewise, this customization includes 19-inch Ford Performance wheels, body length and width graphics, black side mirror housings and darkened rear optical groups. Something that also makes this limited edition unique is the color palette for the exterior is limited to four options - green, orange, silver and blue.

Inside, this Ford Mustang R-Spec is distinguished by the new gear lever knob, which by the way is manual, and by the numbered instrument panel badge.

Obviously, the best thing about this muscle car is when it comes to driving. Following in the footsteps of the GT500, which is not available in Australia, Herrod Performance adapted to the 5.0-liter V8 engine of a -2.65-liter supercharger, an intercooler and new exhaust system.

With these changes, especially the supercharger, the Mustang R-Spec registers a power of 700 hp and a torque of 612 foot-pounds of torque, this is 60 hp and 13 foot-pounds less than the new GT500. While it is less power in the Australian pony car, its great privilege is that it is available with six-speed manual transmission.

But in addition to having more power and a greater roar of the exhaust system, all Mustang R-Spec equips as standard the suspension system with adaptive dampers, springs with lower height -20 mm less with respect to the Mustang GT- and stabilizer bars adjustable bigger.

In addition, to own one of these Mustang R-Spec you have to pay $ 67,500.
