Mas Salagros, the first 100% ecological hotel, owned by the heir of Caprabo

He says that when he had children, he became more aware of the need to consume organic products. Son of the founder of Caprabo, Silvio Elías is a committed guy who created the phenomenon of Veritas supermarkets, where everything is ecological, a chain in full expansion throughout Spain.

And from that attachment to the natural came the idea of creating Mas Salagros, the first 100% ecological hotel in the country.

Elías was the first to think that an ecological resort could work. Located 20 minutes from Barcelona, in Vallromanes, in a farmhouse of 1497, the hotel is unique. It has a spa managed by the international firm AIRE Ancient Baths, a center to which the women of the Catalan upper bourgeoisie are assiduous.

Inspired by Greek and Roman luxury spas, AIRE is a beauty and wellness center where there is a circuit of water and aromatherapy. In Mas Salagros they intend for the center of Vallromanes to become a reference, as is that of Barcelona.

Formula 1 shelter

There is also special dedication to organic gastronomy, where 100% natural materials are fused with very advanced culinary techniques, which has turned the place into a gastronomic destination.

The obsession with everything ecological has led to the eco-resort two Tesla pumps. Thus, they have adhered to the Destination Charging program of the car company, whereby they provide guests with the possibility of charging their electric vehicle.

It is not the only thing related to the engine. Due to the proximity to the Montmeló Circuit and its facilities, the resort becomes a favorite for the teams and for motor enthusiasts. The slopes of Montmeló are 10 minutes away by car and every year, the Formula 1 Grand Prix of Spain is held at its facilities bringing together more than 130,000 people. And everyone gets excited to go.
