[Nike]
Previously we had already talked about the design that would have the Aston Martin DBS GT created by the Italian manufacturer Zagato, because during the last Goodwood Festival of Speed of 2019 a scale model of this luxurious coupe had been leaked, which unfortunately went unnoticed by most of the media assistants. Three months later, Aston Martin officially presents the last copy to complete the DBZ family, which was created on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the British brand in 2019. The unveiling occurred during the Auditour Newport Concours , an exclusive event held in Rhode Island, United States. The new DBS GT Zagato is based on the recently launched in Mexico Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, which shows us a vision towards the future design language of Gaydon's firm. Of course, it should not be mentioned that this DBS GT Zagato will be an exclusive limited edition, where only 19 lucky ones will have the possibility of acquiring one of the copies, under the modest price of 145 million Mexican pesos. The new DBS GT Zagato is powered by a 5.2-liter Twin Turbo V12, capable of generating 760 horsepower, only here it has been upgraded to 760 HP. Of the exterior details that stand out in this vehicle, is the large grill that consists of 108 individual pieces of diamond-shaped carbon fiber that remain closed while the car is parked, but will open automatically when the engine is started , and thus improve the air flow. Another great detail is the inclusion of badges that are bathed in 18-carat gold, the roof and rear diffuser will also be made of carbon fiber with a glossy finish, while the wheelset will be 20 inches with an exclusive golden design with black that contrast perfectly with “the suit in Supernova Red finish” that you saw this coupe. If you were wondering about the interior we will find seats covered in genuine red leather and gold inserts for dashboard and center console, although if the “bling bling” is not the utyo you can also opt for carbon fiber and aluminum inserts printed on 3D, or even the option to customize your vehicle. "The elegance, class and purity of Aston Martin's style have always been perfectly combined with our own rationalist design language." "The centenary of Zagato represents a bridge between the past and the future, strengthened by the shared vision of an innovative approach to collectibles, recently coupled in pairs and twins with the aim of reaching new standards of exclusivity in the world," Andrea Zagato, executive director of Design House, mentioned during the conference offered during the event.
