[Nike]
After the world debut of the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette whose great novelty is the adoption of a central motor architecture, it was a matter of time for the brand of the bowtie to present the convertible variant. The new Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 2020 was evidently an inevitable variant for a model that has had a convertible version since its inception. In fact, the original model that debuted in 1953 was available only as a convertible. However, just as the new Corvette completely rethinks the world of central motor sports because of an unbeatable equation between performance and price, the brand once again takes the opportunity to bring something new, now for the central motor convertible segment, since this new Vette, incorporates a rigid retractable awning. In terms of performance, the Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 2020 uses the same 6.2-liter V8 LT2 with 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque that is associated with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Finally, according to Chevrolet, the engineers made slight modifications to the chassis and suspension (springs and dampers), so that the performance is the closest to the one delivered by the coupe version.
