[Nike] Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Juventus Turin, rival of Atlético Madrid in the Champions League, reported Wednesday that Brazilian Danilo Luiz Da Silva and Mattia De Sciglio will be on leave until mid-October due to muscle injuries. "The medical tests performed this morning at J Medical Danilo have shown a slight lesion in the biceps muscle of the left thigh," reads the official statement published by Juventus, which adds that De Sciglio also drags some muscle discomfort since last August. "De Sciglio has also undergone medical examinations that have not shown a complete recovery," explains the Turin team, which started the Champions League with a 2-2 draw at home of Atlético Madrid. "Both players will be available again after the selection stop," which will end on the weekend of October 19. De Sciglio was injured in a game at the end of August won 4-3 against Naples while Danilo had to retire on Tuesday in the league duel won 2-1 in the Brescia field. Juventus now has an emergency in defense, where he also lost his captain, Giorgio Chiellini, due to the rupture of the cruciate ligament of his right knee. Without De Sciglio or Danilo, Sarri will pull the Colombian Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, which guarantees a good performance of both high end and side.
