The Geological Service confirmed that at 7.36 minutes at night there was an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 and a depth of 152 kilometers.
According to the first report, the epicenter of the movement was the Mesa de los Santos in the Department of Santander, one of the areas that felt most strongly.

At the moment the authorities have not reported any affectation in the country.

Despite this, panic among citizens was generated by the strong earthquake this Saturday night that was felt in Santander.

So far Risk Management of the department does not report structural damage. However, Captain Ramón Ramirez said that they are already sweeping through the municipalities of Santander.

This earthquake was also felt in several areas of the country such as Medellín, Bogotá, Ibague and Tunja.
