This information, revealed in a podcast by specialized journalists of the Parisian media, and which has already generated great worldwide expectations, came after a nurse from the cardiology unit of the George Pompidou Hospital in Paris said that the expilot is awake, in statements that have not been officially confirmed.

"Yes, he is at my service and I can assure you that he is aware," the nurse told that Paris newspaper.

Schumacher was transferred to the Paris hospital Georges Pompidou on Monday to see a doctor with a heart failure specialist, six years after the serious ski accident he suffered.

The expilot would undergo a regenerative treatment with stem cells to obtain an anti-inflammatory effect throughout the body, which should begin on Tuesday.

Since the accident he suffered in 2013, while skiing in the French Alps, his state of health has been unknown and very little has been known about his process.
