George Timothy Clooney (born May 6, 1961)is an American actor, movie director, screenwriter, and humanitarian. He is from Lexington, Kentucky and is the son of Nick Clooney and nephew of singer Rosemary Clooney.He dropped out of college to become an actor. He was on the TV show OY and several other TV shows in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1999, he left ER to act and direct movies, including Ocean's Eleven, Syriana, Good Night, and Good Luck and Up in the Air.
