Akrapovic
In a published letter, the commanders of the "new guerrilla" led by "Iván Márquez" suggested that the only possibility to achieve peace is through a constituent and a new Government that is alternative. “Now don't pretend to sweeten yourself with ideological language to try to win canonies. Today they say they sent a letter saying they are willing to negotiate, but in exchange for a constituent. Colombia does not eat a story, nor does it swallow whole. That is nothing other than that they want to enjoy benefits again to avoid what has already been made evident by the coordinated action of justice, ”said the president with an annoying tone. In his wake and in a brief reference to this new known letter, he crossed out the participants of the video that announced the rearmament of drug traffickers and criminals who "want to challenge Colombia" and make fun of the institutions. To counter this announcement, Duke called on society not to legitimize these speeches. After the reactions at national and international level, the commanders of the new dissent issued a letter winking to different sectors of society. But what drew the most attention was the provision that was expressed in the brief, hinting at his desire to find peace through the negotiated route only if a constituent is summoned. “We hope to find ourselves in that great coalition of life forces, social justice and democracy that will promote a new dialogue to achieve the true final, stable and lasting peace, for which the country cries, taking as its premise that only through of an open constitutional process and an alternative Government impregnated with humanism we can pave the way towards a scenario of coexistence in which the interests of the people and the true national development are prioritized ”, reads in reference to the personal greetings that made figures like Iván Cepeda, Álvaro Leyva, Roy Barreras, Piedad Córdoba, Juan Fernando Cristo, Gustavo Petro, Ángela María Robledo, Angélica Lozano and Ernesto Samper. In a presidential address on the day the video was known, Duque said that the entire Public Force would move to find the whereabouts of the ex-combatants and offered $ 3 billion for each of those who breached the Peace Agreement.
