Terry William Rozier III (Youngstown, Ohio, March 17, 1994) is an American basketball player who belongs to the staff of the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA. At 1.88 meters tall, he plays in the base position.

Sports career
college
He played two seasons of college basketball with the Cardinals of the University of Louisville, in which he averaged 12.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. In his first season in the Cardinals he was included in the best quintet of rookies of the Atlantic Coast Conference, after averaging 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals.

The following year he led the conference in steals, with 2.0 per game, 4 being included in the second best quintet of the conference.5 On March 30, 2015, he and his teammate Montrezl Harrell declared themselves eligible for the NBA draft, giving up the remaining two years as a university student.6

Professional
On June 25, 2015, he was selected in the sixteenth position of the 2015 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics.1 On July 27, 2015, Rozier signed his rookie contract with the Celtics.
