The essence of the 'flower power' ibicenco flooded this Thursday Madrid with two of its most famous icons: Pacha Ibiza and the designer Charo Ruiz, with the presentation of a capsule collection, within the actions to celebrate the 30 years of Charo Ruiz Ibiza. This is a proposal formed by 18 pieces for women and girls, which is already available both on the websites of the two brands participating in this project and in the stores of Charo Ruiz Ibiza and those of the Pacha brand: "It has made me very happy to adapt some of the woman models to girl size, in such a way that it is suitable for the grandmothers that we lived at that time, for our daughters and, of course, for our granddaughters. “Designing these garments has been pure adrenaline and, in addition, a great honor. Remembering how he danced barefoot at the Espalmador parties in Formentera, more than 30 years ago, has been very exciting. I have been able to go through that part of my life and encapsulate it in this proposal, ”he concludes. The collection, for women and girls, consisting of dresses, tops, skirts, caftans and other garments characteristic of the brand, also has another iconic woman: Minerva Portillo. The Spanish top model, portrayed by photographer Álvaro Gracia, stars in a campaign carried out in an authentic country house on the white island. And Charo Ruiz explains the reason for this election: "His career, his vision of fashion. Minerva is feminine, magnetic, Mediterranean, fun. She is one of those people who knows how to identify the real pleasures of life and communes perfectly with the values of both brands and especially with the Ibiza brand ".

White, of course, is the main color of this proposal, in which the bougainvillea tone and a fascinating tie dye print also shine. Plain colored garments are made of 100% cotton and guipure finishes and those of print, in viscose. They are fabrics that, thanks to their spectacular movement, seem to dance by themselves. The deep necklines that leave the shoulders in the air, the sleeves worked with ruffles and ruffles, the maxi dresses, the steamy robes and the asymmetrical lengths are key. All this, together with the 'made in Ibiza', with that casual and even naive air that characterizes him so much: “We have opted, above all, for fresh and youthful pieces, and also for more conventional ones, but always working the volumes on skirts , sleeves and necklines to give them a great movement, ”says the designer.

Among those invited to the presentation, we could see Miranda Makaroff, Fiona Ferrer, Clara Courel, Paloma Barrientos, Rosa Villacastin, Marta Robles, Ana Antic, Cristina Reyes or Mónica Martín Luque. All of them, friends of the creator and fans of her quintessential Ibizan style.
