Paul Clifton Anthony George (Palmdale, California, May 2, 1990) is an American basketball player who plays in the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA. At 2.06 meters tall, he plays in the forward position. George started playing basketball at the Knight High School Institute before playing two seasons of college basketball at Fresno State University. He was selected by the Pacers in the tenth NBA Draft selection of 2010. In 2013, he was selected to play his first NBA All-Star Game, received the NBA's Most Improved Player award, and was named in the Third Best NBA Quintet and the second best NBA defensive quintet.

Sports career
Institute
George attended the Pete Knight Institute, where in his senior season he averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists per game. He was named MVP of the Golden League, Antelope Valley Press Player of the Year and was a member of the Daily News 2007-08 All-Area Boys team. In his junior year he signed 14 points and 8 rebounds per game.1

college
Her university career was developed at Fresno State, playing two years in the Bulldogs. In his first campaign he averaged 14.3 points, led the team with 6.2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He was one of the 15 most freshman scorers in the NCAA and completed six double-doubles with the Bulldogs. In his second and final season at Fresno State, George was the top scorer of the team with 16.6 points, in addition to 7.1 rebounds, and was part of the second best quintet of the Western Athletic Conference

NBA
Indiana Pacers (2010-2017)
George was selected by Indiana Pacers in the tenth position of the 2010 NBA Draft.3

George debuted in October 2010 against San Antonio Spurs. In his first year he already won ownership in the Pacers and was included in the second best rookie quintet of the season.

On July 1, 2010 he signed his first professional contract with the Pacers, for two years guaranteed and $ 3.9 million.4 In 2012 he was selected for the All-Star math contest, although he failed to win it.

In 2013 he was chosen to participate in the All-Star in Houston, for the first time in his career. It is the second consecutive Pacer that achieves this achieved, since Roy Hibbert achieved it last year.

On December 2, 2013, George broke his personal scoring record with 43 points against Portland Trail Blazers.

In 2014, he was chosen to participate in the 2014 NBA All-Star Game as a starter by fans via voting, he was also chosen for the NBA Matte Contest in which he won the East team with his teammates John Wall and Terrence Ross, his partner Ross was the champion of the contest in 2013, his partner Wall made the dump voted by fans as the dump of the night, in the All-Star Game, George recorded 18 points in 33 minutes. Indiana Pacers qualified first in the conference this automatically getting their entry for the 2014 Playoffs, George led his team until the end of this conference in which they were defeated for the second time in a row by Miami Heat. This officially ended with the incredible season of the Pacers 56-26. On June 2, 2014, George was named in the NBA's best defensive quintet of the 2013-14.5 season. On June 4, 2014, he was named in the NBA's Third Best Quintet for the second time in a row.

Oklahoma City Thunder (2017-2019)
On July 6, 2017 he was transferred to the Oklahoma City Thunder in exchange for Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.9 In his first season in Oklahoma he ended up averaging 21.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, helping the team reach the PlayOffs, where they fell in the first round with Utah Jazz.

Los Angeles Clippers (2019-present)
After two seasons in Oklahoma, on July 6, 2019 he is transferred to Los Angeles Clippers, in exchange for Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and several first draft rounds
