At 2.01 meters tall he plays in the escort position. He is the first player in NBA history to achieve 500 triples in just 3 years of career. Since the summer of 2016, with just 26 years old Thompson became the only player in Basketball History to be world champion, Olympic champion and NBA champion with less than 27 years. To date, he is the only basketball player to get that "triple crown" at such an early age.
