Angrry.exe™
Yes, you read that right: we already have HBO channels (with all their suite: HBO, HBO2, HBO3, Cinemax, Cinemax2 etc.), but also two online platforms: already well-known HBO GO, but also HBO Now ( which is not yet available to us). This, not to mention the competition: Netflix, Hulu or Disney + (to be released soon). AT&T, the parent company of Warner Media, which owns the entire HBO suite, looks set to rely heavily on this new service in the future. Both existing titles in the HBO portfolio and new releases of the company founded by Jack, Harry, Sam and Albert in 1923 will be available here. One of the titles that HBO Max bets on is the new season of the famous Friends series, which is to rule exclusively on the platform, starting in 2020, that is one year after the current contract with Netflix expires. It remains to be seen if the reheated soup will be successful now. Now, if I am to look seriously, the idea of revisiting Will Smith in The Prince of Bel-Air, another series that will be (re) aired exclusively by them, seems tempting. But, as if it is already starting to resemble Home Alone on ProTV, don't you think? It remains to be seen if the market for streaming media platforms will allow the development of the new player. Already everything is too crowded there, and some of them are owned by the same companies! Fun fact: Do you still remember Uncle Phil, the one who welcomes Will Smith to his Bel Air home? Well, Will's age is now closer to "uncle" than to the character he played in the series. And by the way, he got there just because the US Treasury had forced him and needed money. So he decided to go to the audition. The rest is history ...
