This is temporarily under a critical vulnerability discovered by CERT-Bund. Until a new version appears, it is advisable not to use it because the attackers can enter into your combat. VideoLAN Project, the company behind the VLC application, has publicly acknowledged the problem and is trying to remedy it. The vulnerability is extremely high and computer data can be stolen or even remotely controlled. Targeted are Linux, Windows and Unix users.
