The bars were laid more than 20 years ago, when crime had increased. Now, it has decreased and this is part of a large public investment project, whose technical file we have just finished, ”he said on Channel N. In addition, he explained that there will be more green areas in the Campo de Marte and all the paths will be repaved. The investment amount will be approximately 10 million soles. “We are going to plant a thousand more trees, yesterday we started with the planting of 100. We will resurface all the paths and all the monumental part we will beautify it in coordination with the Ministry of Culture. We want to turn the Mars Field into a large public space for the enjoyment of families, ”he said. He also said that the fairs of the Campo de Marte, which have remained in place for more than 15 years, will be removed on August 31 and will build a boulevard on that space. "There will be points with coffee and cultural activities." He added that this project also incorporates the construction of a video surveillance center in the Field of Mars, as well as the increase of serene and the placement of more security cameras.
