olee Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Toyota will launch the all-new Glanza in the Indian market in the coming month. The Glanza has already been revealed through various spy pictures of the uncamouflaged vehicles. Here is one more video by Tanmay Gupta that shows different colours of Toyota Glanza parked at what it looks like a stockyard. he video shows the upcoming Toyota Glanza from all around. However, since the cars parked at the stockyard were locked, the video does not show the interior of the car properly. However, we can see the exterior of the vehicle from all around. It should be noted that the Toyota Glanza will not offer a host of changes compared to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Instead, at the front, only a different grille is used. Even the alloy wheels of the Toyota Glanza are identical to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. The all-new Glanza will be launched on 6th June in the Indian market. It will be available only in two trims and both of them will be powered only by the petrol engine option. The video shows quite a few colours of the upcoming Toyota Glanza including a dark red, blue, grey and white. It is not known if Toyota will offer more colours when it is officially launched. The Toyota Glanza will offer both 1.2-litre K12B and the 1.2-litre K12C DualJet petrol engines that are available with the Toyota Baleno. The DualJet engine that was launched with the Baleno earlier offers a mild-hybrid system. The same mild-hybrid system will be available on the Glanza too. Maruti Suzuki will discontinue using the 1.3-litre diesel engine, which is sourced from Fiat after the implementation of BS-VI norms. Maybe that’s the reason Toyota has only chosen to offer the petrol engine for the time being. This is not the first time that Toyota has offered a single fuel option at this price point. The Toyota Yaris also offers only a petrol engine option. It should also be noted that Toyota Glanza will only be offered in both manual and CVT automatic option just like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. So there will be two-trim levels and four variants in total. Coming to the interiors, the Toyota Glanza will be identical to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Even the infotainment system seems to be the same as the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Except for the logo, everything else remains the same. It should be noted that Maruti Suzuki will manufacture the Toyota Glanza at its Gujarat plant. The Toyota Glanza is expected to offer a standard 3 year/1,00,000 km warranty as against the 2 year/40,000 km standard warranty offered by Maruti Suzuki. Toyota initially aims to sell around 2,000 units of the Glanza in the Indian market and increase the number over time.
