Angrry.exe™
The first nine months of this year showed an increase in the sale of electric and hybrid cars in Romania. Compared to last year, the Association of Automobile Manufacturers and Importers announced an increase of 165% for electric and 48% for hybrids. On the Romanian market, 648 electric cars (BEV) and hybrid plug-in (PHEV) were marketed between January and September 2018. Volkswagen occupies the first position with 182 units, followed by BMW with 121. The last place on the podium is occupied by Smart 95, most likely because its electric models are even costing EUR 12,000 if purchased through the program Rabla Plus. In the case of hybrid cars without power take-off, Toyota dominates the Romanian market: 2,023 of the 2,274 hybrid units marketed in the first nine months of the year are the Japanese builder.
