The Minister of Health, Zulema Tomás, confirmed the presence of the president of the Council of Ministers, Salvador del Solar, on Thursday in the district of Challhuahuacho (Apurímac) to continue with the dialogue with the community members. Earlier, Jorge Paredes Terry, new advisor to the communities of Challhuahuacho (Apurímac), said that the road to the Las Bambas mine will not be released on Monday, since the president of Fuerabamba, Gregorio Rojas, is going to carry out the corresponding consultation to the community leaders. These statements came after the leader reached agreements with the government on Saturday.

Walls Terry said that Rojas was "wrong" to sign the agreements on Saturday night, where it was indicated that the villagers were committed to unblock the aforementioned route.
